Information Referee Exam

On the day before the tournament, Friday 11 December 2026, an EMA Riichi referee seminar and exam will take place.
This exam certifies referees authorized to officiate at EMA riichi tournaments.
The seminar and the exam are open to all referees who want to obtain EMA certification, as well as to players who want to train in refereeing.
Registration for the seminar and the exam is free but mandatory, and is done via the registration form for the tournament.
Candidates who pass the exam will have the opportunity to officiate during the tournament as assistant referees, under certain conditions described in the registration form.
